Being Brian MayBrian's—correction, Rockstar Brian's—life was going pretty well. He was now rich and titled. He could get anything he wanted, he had worked hard for that. Queen was soaring upwards like a jet and they were seriously rolling in money. Something else that didn't agree with him were his days and days of doing nothing, which is why he'd begun skulking around the Garden Lodge.
“If I weren’t here,” He'd think, eyeing a bejeweled vase at the end of a corridor. “I’d be teaching math somewhere….” He looked around the house. He was here all by himself. “Yep," he said as he admired his reflection in the vanity's large mirror, "handsome, charming, and talented…I don't know how this place ever survived without me."
"That is a miracle," Freddie said, placing his right hand on the back of his neck to pull his head down for a kiss. Brian felt his fingers graze his ear and then—and then his ear came into contact with something that
Tango FreddieTitle: The Tango Freddie
A/N: Based on 'The Tango Maureen' from 'RENT'.
(An auditorium. Freddie's late for a rehearsal, Roger and Brian are trying to get the sound equipment to work, but not even his scientist skills will fix it. The audience will be there in about a half hour.)
Brian: Goddamit, why won't this work... (nothing happens, kicks the amplifier)
Roger: Calm down, you drama queen.
Brian: (silence for a moment) Where the hell is Freddie? He should've been here by now... Roger, I told Freddie NOT to call you, if it makes you feel any better.
Roger: (sarcastically) Thanks. That's really going to help me get a new girlfriend.
(The music for 'Tango Maureen' starts playing.)
Brian: What the hell... (shrugs)
(singing) The audience won't wait,
But the cable -
Roger: (singing, still sarcastic) Isn't this great!
Say something, anything.
Brian: (into the microphone) Test one, two, three...
Roger: (singing) Anything but that...
Brian: (singing) This is wei
Russian RouletteTitle: Russian Roulette
Summary: Brian does not tolerate betrayers…
Pairing: Brian/Rogerina (Its AU)
Brian stood in the door looking out at the beautiful sunrise as Rogerina came down the stairs.
"What a beautiful day, Rogerina, Just beautiful. It's the perfect day, perfect end, perfect betrayal, and perfect death." Brian turns and faces Rogerina with a gun in his hand.
"Why are you saying these things?" Rogerina asked
"Do I need permission to speak from FREDDIE BULSARA?" Brian shouted
"Try to understand, I was in an impossible position, that's not what it was. Trust me." Rogerina could see the rage in Brian's eyes as he turned from her.
"Ok." Brian calmly said "So then explain it to me. You were sent by Freddie?"
Brian sat Rogerina down in the chair at the table. "A plan." It was a statement.
Rogerina nodded again.
"And with your help Freddie wo
Darkness So my attempt at trying to write an angst story. *2 POVs*
Numbness plagued his body as John walked back to his apartment alone. The crashing of thunder outside and the loud noise of the ran slamming against the building could barely express how he was feeling. He didn't bother to switch the lights on, the darkness helped him stay away from seeing any of the memories. Brian and Roger stayed at Roger's place for now, but John wanted silence. No memories, no expression, just the solitude of the dark flat.
"Not fair." Was all he could say
He curled up on the bed and wrapped his arms around one of the pillows. Memories of previous concerts flashed through his mind. The energy, the pure ecstasy that radiated from the leader as his voice rung through the stadiums world wide. Now it was silenced forever. He cringed at the happy memories that could never be recreated. A flash of lightning is what brought the tears. He dug his fingernails into the fabric of the pillo
The Millionaire WaltzFreddie pushed the door shut behind him so that it slammed. He shuffled his feet on the floor, slightly chagrined after his experience of the evening. Quietly he sighed deeply, not even announcing his arrival, just entering.
Mary looked up at her former boyfriend, the man who'd stopped just before her chair and murmured a quick "hello". His ebony hair fell down to the shoulders of his red silk jacket, one that Mary swore she could smell the champagne on. A scent that reminded her so much of long nights with expensive drinks and endless kisses, time she'd spent in his arms. And here he was, standing in front of her.
"Are you feeling alright, darling?" the golden-haired young woman asked. Then she remembered where he'd been the whole night. "Did you enjoy the date?"
Freddie read Mary's face like a book for a few seconds, then allowed himself to become vulnerable when he remembered how woebegone he really was. "No," he replied. "That has to have been one of the lousiest dates I've ever ha
Somebody to Love part Two"M-Mary..."
Freddie let his glance fall right back down to those white knee socks. He couldn't stand to look into that piercing blue. His heart leapt as those socks moved closer.
"Freddie..." a soft finger pulled his chin up, "What's wrong?"
"I just... I need to tell you something..."
Mary's hand cupped the small of Freddie's back and led him inside.
Freddie's heart was racing, but he couldn't possibly realise that he was putting the love of his life through just as much agony.
Each memory Freddie could conceive flooded back into him as he lightly sat upon the sofa. Back and forth. The moment they met, the first time that that frigid blue drilled into him as they conjoined their love, the few tiring tours she'd come on... Each movie... Each dinner... Each morning tog-
An ear piercing scream.
"Oh! That's the kettle," Mary's smooth harpsichord of a voice chimed.
Silently, Freddie followed in Mary's wake, unbeknownst to his love.
So serene... In her own world... Yet, so down to Earth... H
Somebody to Love part OneEach morning he got up, he died a little. He couldn't barely stand on his feet. He took a look in one of his many mirrors and cried. Deep, bitter resentment of what he could not change leaked from every orifice on his body.
"Why me? Lord, what are you doing to me?" he murmured ruefully only to himself and the photographs on the wall.
A beautiful girl. One in so many thousands. Stylish blonde hair caressing her poise shoulders. Dark eyeliner drawn out at the end. Soft, loving touch. Gentle, caring nature. So many attributes, all dripping with pulchritude, made up the girl he could no longer call his lover.
His black-lacquered finger tips lightly danced along the fragile petals. One line sauntered into one ear and out the other, always turning right back around to remind him why he was in this shoppe.
"A dozen red roses for my darling."
Crisp, cold blue. These were the ones. Just like her eyes. A shudder passed through him as he remembered that icy blue piercing into his liquid brown as
